How to Use Event Photography for Sponsor ROI Reporting
What Sponsors Actually Want Documented
Logo and brand visibility: Sponsor logos in prominent positions — signage, step-and-repeat, event programs — need to be clearly captured.
Booth and activation coverage: Exhibit booths with staff present, attendees engaged, and branded materials visible.
Sponsored session photography: Breakfasts, cocktail hours, and sessions where a sponsor's name appears prominently need coverage that includes branding clearly in frame.
Attendee engagement with sponsor elements: Photos of attendees interacting with sponsor booths demonstrate that access was real.
Building the Sponsor Shot List
Before your event:
- List each sponsor and their specific activation (booth location, sponsored session, branded area)
- Identify the key branding elements that need to appear clearly in frame
- Note timing for sponsored sessions
Share this with your CSS contact during the pre-event briefing.
Delivery and Distribution
Deliver sponsor photo packages within one week of the event. A curated package of 20-30 images specific to each sponsor's activations is more valuable than sending all 400 event photos.
